HOW TO CARE FOR CUSTOM LETTERED ITEMS

With proper care, most custom lettered items will be permanent. See below for detailed care instructions per material.

Cotton / Denim (e.g.: jackets, jeans, pants, canvas sneakers, tote bags)

PAINTED: As needed, wash in washing machine on delicate cycle, inside out, in cold water. Hang dry. Do not iron.

EMBROIDERED: Hand wash only. Dry flat. Do not iron.

Leather (e.g.: handbags, sneakers, wallets)

Wipe clean with a slightly damp cloth, gently, as needed. Avoid contact with items that may scratch the surface of the paint, such as keys. If desired, spray one or two times a year with leather protectant like this.

Other Fabrics (e.g.: nylon)

Wipe clean with a damp cloth, gently, as needed. If absolutely necessary, use a mild dish soap to clean stains, avoiding painted areas. Do not wash in washing machine. Do not iron.

Plastic / Glass / Ceramic

Hand wash only. Do not wash in dishwasher!

Marble / Stone

Hand wash only. Avoid contact with items that may scratch the surface.

All items are produced with care in a manner that is intended to be permanent, but calligrapher does not warranty product longevity.
