Just because we can’t host in-person workshops with the current public health crisis doesn’t mean we should stop learning and trying new things. While everyone is apart, I’ll be hosting a new series of virtual workshops you can join from anywhere in the world. Below you’ll find a schedule of entirely new classes and virtual happy hour sessions (plus an adapted version of the best-selling pointed pen Intro to Modern Calligraphy workshop). Many classes are designed to use tools you already have at home, but should you wish to supplement your art supply cabinet, check out my recommendations on this page. Classes will advise below if any special tools are needed and supply lists are available to download here.
The classes will use the Zoom video conferencing tool, and my NYC studio is equipped with an overhead camera so you’ll be able to see the writing demonstrations from wherever you are in the world. The Zoom room will still be capacity-controlled to make sure we have lots of time for q&a and guided feedback, so please sign up early if you’d like a virtual seat!
